Hearts Of Iron III Semper FI
Genre: Strategy
It’s time to dust off the field marshal’s baton and take command of any nation in World War II the largest conflict in history. The first expansion to the critically acclaimed Hearts of Iron III lets you take charge – or delegate – at any level, from divison to nation, through a variety of scenarios. Guide your country to glory from 1936 to 1948: wage war on the battlefields, in the factories, and at the negotiating table, in the grandest of all World War II strategy games ever made.
Semper Fi Features include:
Player-determined hidden victory conditions that will keep opponents guessing
Greater cooperation with allies, allowing players to request troops, convince their allies to attack a specific target and more
Hundreds of new events added to immerse players in their own version of World War II, comparing the unfolding, alternate timeline to real history
Vastly improved AI that will defend its territories valiantly, marshal large naval taskforces and launch multi-stage invasions
Orcs and bloodlust feature strongly in Tribes of the East, a derivative and difficult stand-alone expansion for Heroes of Might & Magic V.
The story also centers around more of the same. The three campaigns carry over from last year's Hammers of Fate expansion. You start by guiding an orcish rebellion with the Stronghold in a single mission, move on to the Necropolis faction, go back to the orcs, and finally head to the Academy. Influence from the Dark Messiah of Might & Magic action game can be seen throughout the campaigns, especially in the Necropolis section, which revives that game's big baddie, the necromancer Arantir. Thankfully, you don't have to have any familiarity with Dark Messiah to understand what's going on here.

In the first campaign of three new ones in this expansion pack for Heroes of Might and Magic V, you control Freyda as she struggles with a civil war in the Grphyon Empire. After that you move to the icy mountains in the north, which the dwarfs call their home. They are the new playable race in Hammers of Fate and bring along a new kind of city called Fortress. Since dwarfs do not know anything about mana and all that fancy stuff all the other races use to cast spells, there is also a new kind of magic called Rune Magic. It uses resources instead of mana to cast powerful spells upon enemies. Dwarfs also have their own set of units like the vicious bear riders and rune priests. The expansion adds new artifacts, new neutral monsters like mummies and manticores, new map objects and several new skirmish and multiplayer maps. It also reintroduces the Caravan feature, known from Heroes of Might and Magic IV, which allows you to transport units over the map without a hero in the group. In multiplayer matches the simultaneous turn-based mode makes a return. It allows all players on a map to move their units without waiting for the other players during a turn.

Thegame takes place during the Second World War, and takes you into thethick of things - at the center of fierce air battles over Europe. Youhave to go the way of the great victories in the skies of London to thecomplete destruction of enemy aircraft over Berlin. In your hands willfall the most famous fighters of World War II, the cabin which arerecreated with historical authenticity. The main task - to survive inair combat, the similarity of which has not been in any simulator.
