ArmA: Cold War Assault the Bohemia Interactive premiere game, also known as,Operation Flashpoint 1 formerly published by Codemasters. The ultimatemodern combat simulator so realistic that it was the foundation of awarfare simulator VBS1 used by a real army. For those who havent playedArmA: Cold War Assault, it is a 100 square km sandbox filled withsophisticated AI soldiers either on foot (choosing from a plethora ofmodern weaponry), or in one of 38 land or air vehicles. The gamefeatures two huge campaigns, each with its own protagonist, vehicles,weapons and terrain. On top of that, ArmA still has a very active modcommunity with modifications ranging from new items for your soldier to atotal game overhauls.
